Ironing Bored

Artist statement I had read Betty Friedan's, The Feminine Mystique and was struck by the fact that womens' lives changed significantly in the 50s and 60s by technology.
Women were bored. I am sure many women today have never even used and ironing board. Life has changed a great deal.
